In Case of Fire: An Afternoon of Dance Performed by City of Austin Firefighters Sat., Oct. 13, 2001 Austin Fire Department Training Tower Austin, TX In Case of Fire was a thirty-minute performance by a group of Austin Firefighters, featuring movements that the firefighters typically do in their work. Allison worked with this group of firefighters for over a yearriding out on the trucks to fires and medical calls, interviewing the firefighters about their work, and learning about the work of firefighting. The performance featured the firefighters pulling hoses, climbing ladders, rappelling down a building and performing other acts of firefightingall set to a musical score.
