As part of its goal to foster creativity and serve a diverse audience, Forklift directs two educational outreach programs. Leaps and Bounds is a creative movement program for children at two Austin-area schools. This program has served more than one thousand children and parents since its inception in 2000. In addition, Forklift has leads annual integrated movement workshops through a collaboration with VSA Arts of Texas. These workshops provide dance classes that are accessible to people with and without disabilities.
