Austin FC Collaboration

A video project focusing on the movement of the workers that support Austin FC and the Q2 Stadium. Partnering with E4Youth, a nonprofit that provides youth creative workforce development in Central Texas and Gensler, the architecture firm that designed the stadium, Forklift spent two months in residency with events services, facilities, and grounds workers at the Q2 stadium. Together, we choreographed and shot a video that shows the work that goes into getting the space match-ready from fixing chairs and setting up goals, electrical work and replacing lights, preparing the parking lot and welcoming fans, to taking care of the field’s live grass. The video aired at the last game of Austin FC’s inaugural season and on social media.
